Following NMI’s advice now to limit the vocal range for most of my characters to a tenth (octave plus major third). Am using the formula of just taking the second note of the chord in root position and raising it by an octave. Surprisingly difficult to stay in that range - but hey, fun challenge!🎶🤓

Another musical feedback session with Michael’s collective. Another song lands in the trash. The villain reveals continue to prove tricky. Musicals continue to challenge me beyond any other creative endeavor. But the opening exposition and character conflicts are finally flowing. So I’ll soldier on!
